Joe is the founding principal and president of Butorac, Johnson & Associates.
Joe graduated with a business degree from St. John's University in 1983 and started his financial planning career shortly thereafter with IDS (now known as Ameriprise Financial Advisors). In 1997, Joe and Shirley Johnson started Butorac, Johnson & Associates, an independent financial planning firm specializing in retirement planning for both individuals and small businesses. Through their broker-dealer, Harbour Investments, Joe has been a member of the Harbour Investments Captain's Club each year since it's inception. Joe has also been a member of Harbour Investments Platinum Club the last five years, an award given to Harbour's top 11 representatives nationwide.
Joe holds series 7, 63, 66 and life insurance licenses in numerous states.
Joe is a resident of Maple Grove and is active in the community. He is an ex high school football and baseball coach and coached and refereed various youth sports in the city of Maple Grove. In his spare time, Joe enjoys golfing, basketball, pickle ball, live music, traveling, going to bible study, and alumni activities.
Joe has 3 children, Matt age 33, Kelly age 31, & Danny age 29, and he is extremely proud of all three. He credits them with his unique and positive perspective on life
